What Are Cashback Sites and Apps?

So before going over the best cashback websites and apps I have tested, let’s first go over what cashback websites and apps in general is just in case you don’t know.

Cashback Benefits—More Than Just Money Back

But in general, what it gives you is savings when you shop online. There are also opportunities when you shop offline. Actually, you can also sometimes get coupons, you can find deals, you can find discounts, and sometimes you can even automatically get the discount applied whenever you are shopping.

Not a Ranked List—Choose What Works Best for You

And I will now go over seven great options for this. But just be aware that it’s not a prioritized list because which of the options is the best really depends on your personal preferences and also your location. But you can use just one or all of the options.

Save 20–40% Instead of 5–10%

And after I go over this, I will, as mentioned, share a tip that can help you save 20 to 40% instead of the 5 to 10% most people get when they use cashback sites and apps. Therefore, be sure to stay for it.

1. Swagbucks

So, let me start by introducing you to Swagbucks, a cashback service. And Swagbucks is mainly known as a get-paid-to site because there are many ways to earn from here.

For example, playing games, taking paid surveys, searching online, and more. But it actually also has a lot of great cashback offers.

Availability and How It Works

Just be aware that even though you can join Swagbucks in all countries, the cashback offers are not available in all countries. But the ones they are, you can find hundreds or sometimes even thousands of different great deals you can get here.

How it often works is then that you get a percentage of whatever you shop for through the links on the Swagbucks website back into your Swagbucks account, and then you can take it out, for example, via PayPal, cash, or gift cards.

2. Fetch Rewards

The next option is called Fetch Rewards, and this is an app you can only use if you are in the US but if you do live in the US it can be great, and you can see they have also introduced a Chrome extension, and this can be a way to, for example, find great cashback deals, but it also has this option where you can scan shopping receipts and then earn small rewards that way as well.

Scan Receipts and Earn While Browsing

And if you now also start using the extension, then you can actually see the deals as you browse whenever you’re shopping online.

3. MyPoints

MyPoints is next. And this is a great cashback site if you live in the US or Canada. And it has thousands of really popular partners. So if you ever shop online, you can usually find some really great offers here.

Great Welcome Bonus and Multiple Ways to Earn

You can also earn by taking surveys and playing games. But in my opinion, the best feature on MyPoints is definitely the cashback options. You can see you can also get a great welcome bonus, and you can also then cash out via PayPal or choose between a lot of different gift cards.

4. Ibotta

It can be a great cashback app if you live in the US and it’s available for both Android and iOS devices. It has a lot of partners, and you can also even sometimes find great deals in physical shops, and you also have the option to scan receipts and earn rewards that way.

5. Crypto.com

We now only have three more options to go over, and it would be great if you could just take one second to drop a comment in this article because More people seeing it can be beneficial, and I would be grateful for that assistance.

Using Visa Cards and Gift Cards to Earn Crypto Cashback

Here, the following choice is somewhat different. It is a crypto app. It’s called Crypto.com. And the reason I mention it here is because it actually has a great cashback option where you both can get cash back when you buy, for example, gift cards through it for certain retailers, but also it has a Visa card.

So depending on the type of Visa card you get, you can get up to 8% cash back whenever you shop with a Visa card. So you can use it both online and in physical shops just as you would with any regular Visa card.

Crypto-Only Rewards—For Enthusiasts

So that can definitely also be a great way to do that. But of course, this is only relevant if you are in general interested in crypto and interested in having a crypto account because you will also get the cash back in crypto.

6. Coupert

Coupert is next, and this is a website you can join from around 40 different countries, and you can find a lot of cashback offers here, and it also has a Chrome extension. So it will automatically find coupons and cashback rewards whenever you are shopping online.

Automatic Coupons and Cash Rewards

So whenever you come to a shop and it maybe has a good deal for you, it will pop up and let you know, which can be very convenient, of course. And whatever you earn here will then go back into your Coupert account. whatever you save, the percentage you save, and then you can then take it out from there.

7. Rakuten Cashback

The last option I wanted to talk about is called Rakuten Cashback, and it’s available in several different countries with its own platform, and then it works with basically local partners, so you can find relevant offers in your country, but it is only around in, I believe, six or seven countries it’s currently available in.

Tutorials, Partners, and Extensions

Again, you can find full articles and reviews of each of these platforms on the full list I have on my website, eLearnest. But Rakudin definitely has a lot of great partners. It also has a Chrome extension so you can easily find offers whenever you’re searching online.

Don’t Miss These Additional Tools

So these are seven great cashback websites and apps. I also have a full list mentioned below where, as mentioned, you can find the join links for the platform you want to get started with. There are even more options than these seven here on this list here. You can also find full articles for the ones you want to check out.

List of cashback Apps & Sites:

The Cashback Stacking Strategy Most People Miss

But let’s now then also look at this tip I talked about earlier to get the most out of cashback sites. Something most people are unaware about.

Stack Multiple Layers of Savings

So there are some things you can do to get the most out of cashback sites that most people are not aware of because what most people do is that they use, for example, either a cashback app or a promo code or a cashback website, and they click one link, and they get a certain percentage back, and they think they’re done.

Combine Cashback Sites, Coupons, Gift Cards & Credit Cards

But what they overlook is that you can actually stack multiple layers of savings. So for example, you can use a cashback site or app, a regular one where you go there, you click a link, and you get a percentage back. But then on some other sites, you can, for example, find a promo code or coupon code, and then you can manually or using an extension like some of them also have there, add that so you get an extra discount before you actually get that cash back there.

And then in some cases you can even buy using a discount gift card. I told you, for example, I gave an example of crypto.com, where you can get discounted gift cards. But there are also other websites online where you can buy discounted gift cards. And if you use that, then you actually save even more.

Cashback Credit Cards for the Final Boost

And then in other cases you can even pay with a cashback credit card for an extra percentage back. I gave you an example here, but there are also some of the sites I talked about here that let you connect your regular credit or debit card. So whenever you use it in a shop where they have a partner, you will get that presented back automatically.

Save 20–40%—Not Just 2–3%

So you can get there; there are many different aspects that you can actually stack together, and it’s totally legal and legit. It’s just something that not many people think about doing. And that means that suddenly you can maybe save 20 to 40% instead of just the 5 to 10% from most cashback sites. Sometimes on cashback sites alone it is maybe only two to 3%. Thus, you can actually save a lot more money by doing this.

Final Thoughts and Community Input

So if you are not doing it yet, that’s definitely something that I recommend doing, and also please share your experiences about it in comments. Have you done this already? And what are the outcomes, if you have? And if not, is it something you want to start doing also? Feel free to leave a comment in the section below.
